Piloki Village is accessible via Thong Pha Phum, a ten minute bus ride to Tha Phe, and then an hour’s boat journey across the lake.
To get to Thongphapum from Bangkok take a bus from Mochit Station (about 6 hours, approximately 250 Thai Baht)
To get to Thongphapum from Sangklaburi, take a bus from the main bus station (about 1 hour, approximately 100 Thai Baht)
The boat can be hired privately for either going or leaving Piloki, (must book one day ahead) for 700-900 baht.
If you want to take the scheduled boat, it leaves the pier a few times in the morning, the last one leaving at 12:00pm. The ordinary boat costs 100 baht per person.
Leaving Piloki the last ordinary boat leaves at 6:30am, and the boatman needs to be informed of your plans to travel.
